Longi Solar announced on April 27 to invest CNY 1.999 billion yuan in the construction of the annual 10 GW mono crystalline module project in Guangdong Province.

The project was signed in November 2022 with the people’s government of Heshan City. In order to promote the implementation of this project, the 5th Board of Directors of the company reviewed and approved the “Proposal on Investment and Construction of Heshan Annual 10 GW Mono Crystalline Module Project” at its 2022 annual meeting.

The company also disclosed its Q1 report on April 27th, achieved a revenue of CNY 128.998 billion yuan in 2022, up 60.03%. The net profit attributable to shareholders was CNY 14.812 billion yuan, up 63.02%. Under the sustained high prices of upstream raw materials, Longi actively bore the pressure of upstream costs, ensured product delivery and performance capabilities, and achieved sustained and stable performance growth.

The company has simultaneously released production capacity and shipping targets for 2023. By the end of the year, it plans to achieve an annual capacity of 190 GW for wafers, 110 GW for cells, and 130 GW for modules. In 2023, the company plans to ship 130 GW (including self use) of wafers, and 85 GW (including self use) of cells and modules, with revenue of over CNY 160 billion yuan.
