Industry leader Longi Solar claimed on last Friday that they have raised about RMB 7 billion yuan to expand production through issuing 70 million convertible corporate bonds on January 5, 2022, with an issue price of 100 yuan per piece.
The raised funds will be applied in the project with an annual output of 15 GW high-efficiency mono cells, which is planned to be implemented by its wholly-owned subsidiary Longi Solar (Xixian New Area) Co., Ltd., and Longi Solar (Ningxia) will be in charge of the annual 3 GW output mono cells project.
Same day, JA Solar also announced its plan on investing about RMB 3.5 billion and expanding the company’s integrated production capacity to fulfill the company’s strategic development needs.
