YMX Photovoltaic was established in 2015. Its major products include module-grade MPPT chip, smart optimizer, smart module and smart O&M system.

The company owns dozens of patents in China and abroad for its MPPT chips, breaking the monopoly of Solar Edge, Tigo and other companies on such products. YMX said on its website that LONGi Leye became the shareholder in 2021. The two companies are working together on research and development, and the production of digitized modules.

By the end of 2021, the total shipment of YMX Photovoltaic’s modules has exceeded 6 GW. The modules were mainly supplied to leading developers in China, Jonsol in Germany, Mijn in the Netherlands, EEW in Spain, Catkin in Pakistan, etc.

LONGi Leye's participation in YMX Photovoltaic will help LONGi further improve its R&D capability and competitiveness in module products.
