On April 10th, KSTAR announced via its official WeChat account that it would further deepen its strategic cooperation with global semiconductor giant Infineon. According to the agreement, Infineon will provide KSTAR with a comprehensive suite of power semiconductor solutions, including 1200V CoolSiC MOSFETs and CoolSiC diodes, 650V CoolSiC MOSFET devices, and EiceDRIVER series single-channel magnetically isolated drivers. This collaboration aims to drive technological breakthroughs in KSTAR’s high-power, high-frequency Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, enhancing its competitiveness in the high-end power supply market.

This collaboration marks a new phase in the partnership between the two companies in the power semiconductor sector. As a global leader in power semiconductor supply, Infineon’s CoolSiC technology is renowned for its high efficiency and reliability, making it particularly suitable for high-power power electronics equipment.
