JinkoSolar pours 3.5 billion in 8 GW TOPCon cell production

Major solar module manufacturer JinkoSolar held the 18th meeting of the first board of directors on April 21, deliberated and adopted the proposal on Using the Remaining Over Raised Funds to Invest in Construction Projects and announced three days later on the construction of high-efficiency cell project and rod pulling project with an annual output of 20 GW.

The project is invested with roughly RMB 7.745 billion yuan, of which part of the over raised funds to be used is 2.615 billion yuan, including:

Two-years construction for phase II high-efficiency cell project, with total investment of RMB 3.452 billion yuan, and part of the over raised funds to be used is expected to be RMB 1.158 billion yuan

Two-years construction for rod pulling project with annual output of 20 GW and total investment of RMB 4.292 billion yuan, and some of the over raised funds to be used are expected to be RMB 1.457 billion yuan

The phase II high-efficiency cell project, located in Hefei Circular Economy Demonstration Park, Feidong County, Hefei City, Anhui Province, is mainly about construction, including production plants, supporting buildings and facilities, and purchase of corresponding equipment. The project is expected to increase the capacity by 8 GW per year.
