The third-party intellectual property organization IPRdaily recently released the Global Solar Cell and Module and TOPCon Solar Cell Invention Patent Rankings (TOP30). Jinko Energy, a global leader in the photovoltaic industry, secured the top spot on the overall list with 2,773 invention patents, leveraging its outstanding technological innovation capabilities and continuous investment in R&D. The company also retained its global leadership in the TOPCon technology sector, with 1,181 patent applications, underscoring its position as a leader in the N-type technology track and the global photovoltaic industry.

This ranking was compiled by IPRdaily through a defined set of keywords and classification codes, aggregating solar cell and module invention patents, as well as TOPCon solar cell invention patents (consolidated by application number) filed and disclosed globally from April 1, 2015, to March 31, 2025.
