Solar cell and module manufacturer DAS Solar released the prices for its n-type cell and module on Tuesday.
Bifacial 182 mm mono n-type solar cells, with a commercial conversion efficiency of up to 25.2%, are now priced at CNY 1.12/W and USD 0.143/W (the price in USD is subject to changes in exchange rates).
Bifacial double-glass 182 mm mono n-type solar modules, with mainstream power of up to 575 W, now cost CNY 1.93/W and USD 0.246/W (the price in USD is subject to changes in exchange rates).
The prices will take effect on March 1.
DAS Solar has achieved significant breakthroughs in its n-type TOPCon 3.0 technology. The high-efficiency TOPCon 3.0 solar cell and module, which incorporate high-density laser i-SE and ut-polySi technologies, have been fully mass-produced. They have an average efficiency of over 25.2%, with the highest efficiency reaching 25.6%.
DAS Solar aims to reach a production capacity of 30 GW for both n-type solar cells and modules by the end of 2023.
