On November 23rd, Aiko disclosed the record of investor relations activities.
During the event, Aiko introduced that in terms of module shipments, the BC production capacity that has already been put into operation includes 10GW in Zhuhai and 15GW in Yiwu, which are gradually being put into operation. At the same time, the Jinan base is under construction, and it is expected that the modules will be put into operation by the end of this year and the cells will be put into operation in the first half of next year. Therefore, the planned shipment for next year is more than 20GW.
In addition, the Yiwu base achieved full production in September this year, which is sustainable. The Zhuhai base is undergoing the transformation of full screen modules and 0BB, and it is expected to achieve full screen module shipments by the end of the year. Meanwhile, with the implementation of stock issuance projects and other financing methods to specific targets in the future, the fundraising projects of Yiwu Base can also continue to be rapidly constructed. Therefore, the company’s long-term production capacity space is over 100GW.
The BC production capacity plan for the Yiwu base is 15GW. Currently, 8GW has been installed and is in full production, and the remaining 7GW is being installed gradually. Due to the rapid technological iteration of our company, and considering that we currently have good and mature ground products with a high double-sided rate of 75% or above, we may upgrade the remaining 7GW production capacity in Yiwu in the future and iterate our products into 0BB products that are more suitable for large ground power stations.
In terms of cell shipment volume, it mainly depends on market conditions. The company will seek a balance between capacity utilization, market prices, and company profitability. Currently, products sold in the form of cells include PERC and TOPCon. In ABC production capacity, cells and modules are sold in a 1:1 matching capacity and in the form of modules. Sometimes, PERC benefits better than TOPCon.
Regarding whether BC cells should be exported, Aiko has found that some manufacturers have practical needs from some partners due to limited production capacity and technology. Unlike the previous sales of cells, the company is also studying how to cooperate under reasonable rules. The company maintains an open attitude and is still in the discussion and decision-making stage.
