On December 9, 2020, during the annual meeting of China Photovoltaic Industry Association held in Yiwu, East China’s Zhejiang Province, Trina Solar unveiled its 210 super factory.
At present, Trina Solar has built three super factories in Yiwu of Zhejiang Province, Suqian and Yancheng in Jiangsu Province. By the end of 2020, the capacity of Trina Solar 210 modules has exceeded 22 GW, and the global capacity will exceed 50 GW in 2021.
The construction of Yiwu 210 super factory was completed in 112 days and imported equipment. On July 29, the commissioning ceremony of phase I 4 GW modules and the foundation laying ceremony of phase II 4 GW modules of Trina Solar was held here. This is the world’s first large-scale production base of ultra-high power modules with innovative technologies including 210mm silicon wafers, cells and modules.
