The US-headquartered EV manufacturer Tesla launched a solar, storage and supercharging station in Tibet, which is its first in China.
On June 23, the launching ceremony of Tesla China solar storage and supercharging station was held in Lhasa, the provincial capital of Tibet. Equipped with V3 Supercharger, the station can provide Tibet car owners with clean and sustainable source of energy.
China is Tesla’s second-biggest market, but the charging site is its first in the country with dedicated solar power and on-site power storage.
