Risen Energy subsidiary secures 150 MW EPC projects in Vietnam

Risen New Energy (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of solar module maker Risen Energy Co., Ltd recently joined hands with TASCO Joint Stock Company and signed a solar plant EPC agreement with state corporate Vietnam Electricity on the 100 MW and 50 MW projects.


Vietnam Electricity is a state-owned company in Vietnam, with leading strength in local power generation, power transmission, distribution and power sales. It is not only the backbone to support the unified jurisdiction of Vietnam’s national power grid, but also the core company to promote the construction of local solar energy projects.

According to Vietnam’s national renewable energy development strategy, the government plans to expand the installed capacity of solar power generation to 12 GW by 2030, and the huge market potential remains to be further developed.

Yuan Jianping, general manager of Risen Hong Kong, said that “We are honored to win the full trust of Vietnam Electricity to provide EPC overall services for the historic project related to the upgrading of Vietnam’s national power supply network. Relying on rich global operation experience, professional knowledge and advanced technology, we will complete the construction with utmost quality and safety.
