On December 23, PowerChina announced the decision of its board of directors to establish PowerChina New Energy Group Co., Ltd.
The main content of the announcement is that the board of directors agreed to restructure and integrate the new energy business controlled by the subsidiary holding company China Hydropower Engineering Consulting Group and rename the subsidiary as PowerChina New Energy Group Co., Ltd.
However, the new name still awaits approval of market supervision authorities.
