On August 9, LONGi announced the signing of a major procurement framework contract with Xinyi Solar on photovoltaic glass.

The contract agreed that the quantity of photovoltaic glass purchased by LONGi from Xinyi Solar from September 2021 to December 2024 should not be less than 35% of the estimated annual demand of LONGi. The purchase price should be discussed monthly. The actual contract quantity and total amount shall be subject to transaction amounts.
LONGi stressed the long-term procurement framework contract meets the needs of the company’s future development. It is conducive to establishing long-term strategic cooperation with suppliers and ensuring the long-term stable supply of photovoltaic glass. The main business of the company will not become significantly dependent on the counter-party due to the performance of this contract, and will not affect the independence of the company.
According to LONGi’s 2020 annual report, the total module shipment is 24.53 GW, ranking the first in the world.
