On August 20, the Hurun Research Institute released the 2021 Hurun Global 500. LONGi, whose valuation stood 504 billion yuan, ranked 195th as the only Chinese solar manufacturer on the list.
Ranked the 369th in 2020, LONGi’s ranking has risen by 174. Its valuation also quickly mounted from 264 billion yuan to 504 billion yuan, an increase of 90.9%. Among the 47 Chinese companies on the list, LONGi is the only one mainly engaged in solar PV business.
The companies listed in the 2021 Hurun Global 500 list are non-state-owned. They are ranked according to their valuation. The market capitalization of listed companies is calculated based on the closing price on July 15, 2021. The valuation of non-listed companies is estimated with reference to listed companies in the same industry or based on the latest round of financing.
