On September 12, Jolywood announced its plan to invest in the construction of 2 GW high-efficiency N-type module project in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia.
The first phase of the proposed construction project is 1GW. The total investment of the 1GW project is estimated to be 200 million yuan. Some equipment will be transported from Jolywood, Taizhou, and the plant will be renovated from an existing premise. The construction of the project is estimated to take about five months, depending on the actual progress of investment and construction.
This is already Jolywood’s second project in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, after the 400 MW PV power generation project in the city. It is also another example of collaboration in the PV sector between Jolywood and State Power Investment Corporation. According to Jolywood, the project is in line with the company’s development strategy to further expanding its high-efficiency module production capacity.
The project is also said to support the company’s future development of power generation projects in Inner Mongolia.
