Jolywood, one of the largest solar product manufacturers recently disclosed the ambition to increase its cell production capacity to 20 GW in the next two to three years.
The company’s current TOPCon cell capacity has reached 2.1 GW, with 1.5 GW in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province and 16 GW in Shanxi Province under construction, and some production lines in Taizhou have been gradually put into trial production. According to the investment feasibility study, the 8 GW phase I project of the 16 GW project in Shanxi is expected to achieve production capacity of 6 GW in the next year, and the whole capacity may reach 20 GW in the next two to three years. Some of the cells will be used for the modules made by the company itself.
