Jinko Solar Co., Ltd. has signed the first batch of residential energy storage orders with local customers in Thailand, which will provide support for the development of “PV + ESS” solutions in the country.

The residential energy storage system targets customers’ needs for off-grid and grid switch scenarios. The battery covers the storage range from 7 kWh to 20 kWh. The inverter has single-phase and three-phase options. The high protection grade of IP65 can better cope with the high humidity in Thailand. The soft pack battery can provide an energy density of 10% to 15% higher than square batteries, and provide better thermal runaway guarantee under high temperature.
Jinko Solar has been Thailand’s number one exporter of modules for two consecutive years. Among over 500 MW of modules installed in Thailand in 2020, over 192 MW high-efficiency solar modules were provided by Jinko Solar, accounting for 38.4% of the market share.
