On October 19, the construction promotion event for Jinko Solar’s 32 GW PV production line projects was held in Hefei, a city in eastern China.
The projects include a 16 GW high-efficiency cell production line and a 16 GW module production line. The two projects, both located in Hefei Circular Economy Demonstration Park, have a total investment of 20 billion RMB. The annual output value of the project is 45 billion RMB once it reaches designed capacity. It is expected to create over 8,000 job opportunities.
Once completed, the carbon free plant will become home to the world’s most advanced solar cell equipment. By adopting the most advanced technologies, the plant is designed to achieve the highest degree of automation and efficiency with the lowest cost.
