JA Solar active in distributed solar deployments, making 232 million in H1 2021 from O&M

On Monday, JA Solar told investors that the company has been actively involved in the installation, construction and maintenance of distributed solar PV stations in a bid to support China’s strategic plan to roll out solar deployments nationwide.

The whole-county promotion plan launched by the National Energy Administration of China is conducive to integrating resources for intensive development, reducing power peak load, optimizing distribution network investment, and guiding green energy consumption. It is an important strategy to realize carbon emissions peak and carbon neutrality goals of China.

JA Solar added in its response to investors that, in the first half of 2021, the revenue from the operation and maintenance of solar PV power stations has reached RMB 232 million, accounting for 1.43% of the company’s total revenue.
