Heraeus Photovoltaics to set up new headquarter in Shanghai to expand capacity

Global leading manufacturer and leading technology solution provider Heraeus Photovoltaics announced yesterday that it’s been building an integrated base in Minhang District, Shanghai as its new global headquarter and expanding production capacity on a large scale, aiming to meet the growing demand of the photovoltaic industry and consolidate its global market position, since the demand of photovoltaic industry will continue to show an upward trend in the next few years, according to experts’ prediction.


At that time, the company’s all research and development facilities in its Shanghai Innovation Center will be moved into the new headquarter building, and it will purchase other advanced experimental equipment and continue to introduce top talents to enhance the innovation strength and improve the overall scientific research level. After the new production base is put into operation, the annual production capacity of silver slurry of the company will reach 3,000 tons.
