Grace Solar supplies mounting system for largest PV plant in Japan

Grace Solar, a leading supplier of mounting and tracking systems, has recently landed a 400 MW contract in Kyushu with a solar development giant in Japan.

After cooperating with the local developer for 10 years, Grace Solar has accumulated rich experience in over a hundred projects in Japan. With its reliable product quality and premium service system, the company has secured a 400 MW solar PV plant project and shipped 70 MW in the first phase.

After the construction is completed, the project is likely to become the largest ground-mounted solar PV plant in Japan, generating 50 MWh per year to serve 130,000 households.

As one of the core suppliers of the developer, Grace Solar has completed nearly 20 EHV projects and about 100 high-voltage cases through tacit cooperation with the developer. The signing of this project marks another major milestone in Grace Solar’s development in Japan.

Japan has stringent requirements towards power plant design and the resilience of the product. To meet the requirements of the developer, Grace Solar conducted careful calculations. All products have passed the certification of Japan’s Economy, Trade and Industry Ministry and obtained patents.

Solar PV plants using Grace Solar’s systems are said to have presence in 80% of Japan’s prefectures.
