In September, China’s economy continued to recover steadily, and the power consumption of the whole society continued to grow, reaching 694.7 billion KWh, a year-on-year increase of 6.8% and an average increase of 7.4% in the two years. By industry, the power consumption of the agricultural industry was 9.7 billion KWh, a year-on-year increase of 14.9%; The power consumption of the manufacturing industry was 445.1 billion KWh, a year-on-year increase of 6.0%; The electricity consumption of the service industry was 129.2 billion KWh, a year-on-year increase of 12.1%; The domestic power consumption of urban and rural residents was 110.7 billion KWh, a year-on-year increase of 3.7%.
From January to September this year, the total electricity consumption of the whole society was 6,165.1 billion KWh, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%. By industry, the electricity consumption of the agricultural industry was 75.7 billion KWh, a year-on-year increase of 18.9%; The electricity consumption of the manufacturing industry was 4,098 billion KWh, a year-on-year increase of 12.3%; The power consumption of the service industry was 1,082.6 billion KWh, a year-on-year increase of 20.7%; The domestic electricity consumption of urban and rural residents was 908.8 billion KWh, a year-on-year increase of 7.0%.
