China-based battery giant Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) has reached a global strategic partnership with Eaton Powerware (Shanghai) Co., Ltd in Fujian’s Ningde yesterday, sharing and integrating high-quality resources in their respective fields.

According to the agreement, the cooperation involves product R&D, marketing, business model and service response mechanism. CATL will help Eaton improve its lithium battery uninterruptible power supply solution for enterprise applications, and Eaton will provide energy-efficient products and solutions for CATL’s intelligent manufacturing projects.
The two sides will also jointly develop energy storage solutions for different application scenarios, give full play to the leading advantages of CATL in global new energy application solutions and services, and Eaton’s comprehensive ability to provide enterprise digital and intelligent solutions, so as to jointly create digital energy storage solutions and contribute to global energy transformation and sustainable development.
