Arctech and Goodwe sign strategic cooperation agreement on BIPV

On Monday, Arctech Solar, a leading solar tracking, racking and BIPV system provider signed strategic cooperation agreement with Goodwe, a world-leading PV inverter manufacturer.

Wang Cheng, CFO and General Manager of Arctech, visited the headquarters of Goodwe. Goodwe’s chairman Huang Min and deputy general manager Hou Xiangyong attended and witnessed the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement.

The two companies will cooperate on solar PV, especially BIPV, based on mutual trust, strategic coordination, complementary advantages and win-win outcome.

Wang Cheng said that Arctech and Goodwe complement each other’s advantages in different PV application scenarios, including rooftop solar, ground-mounted solar, solar-plus-storage, and BIPV, etc.

He added that, Arctech has both the required technology and experience in the development of BIPV projects in particular. He expressed hopes for the two companies to share resources, carry out regional cooperation and jointly promote the development of the solar PV industry.

Huang Min, the chairman of Goodwe, welcomed Wang Cheng and his colleagues. He said that, Goodwe and Archtech, both listed on science and innovation board at the Shanghai Stock Exchange, are on the fast track of development amid global energy transition.

He hoped that the two companies could cooperate further on deploying new energy power plants and comprehensive smart energy projects, while taking advantage of each other’s personnel and distributor resources.
