Drinda Foresees Continued Shortage of High-Efficiency Photovoltaic Cells in Overseas Markets

On March 24th, Drinda stated that through continuous expansion in overseas markets, the company’s overseas sales revenue increased significantly from 4.69% in 2023 to 23.85% in 2024. Among them, the company leads the industry in market share in key overseas markets such as India, Turkey, and Europe.

Drinda explained that battery prices in overseas markets are generally better than domestic levels, with a certain premium. Currently, overseas photovoltaic demand remains strong, and numerous emerging markets with independent value systems are gradually emerging and maintaining rapid growth at a high speed. Constrained by factors such as the high technical barriers of photovoltaic cells and the high requirements for talent and research and development, overseas photovoltaic cell production capacity is relatively scarce.

Looking ahead, with the continuous growth of overseas photovoltaic demand, the supply of high-efficiency photovoltaic cells in overseas markets is expected to remain in short supply, and battery prices in overseas markets are expected to maintain a profit advantage compared to the domestic market.
