Mr. Zhang is a Principal Engineer at Tongwei Solar and is responsible for the development of perovskite solar cells. He holds a PhD in materials science from Sichuan University and has been engaged in research of new energy materials for a long time. He has more than 10 years’ experience in the fields of optoelectronic semiconductor materials, including silicon cells, CIGS, perovskite materials and photocatalysis/electrocatalysis, and has published more than 10 academic papers. His current research focuses on developing and understanding the new materials and device concepts of high-efficiency metal halide perovskite photovoltaics, especially perovskite-silicon tandem solar cells. He has in-depth research on the deposition and stability of perovskite materials on texturized silicon substrates. He actively contributes to advancing the solar industry.
