TSUN tops single-phase power list with microinverters

In recent years, the application of microinverters in photovoltaic (PV) projects has been increasing due to their efficient and stable energy conversion, safe and reliable performance, independent MPPT technology, flexible configuration, intelligent monitoring, long lifespan design, and convenient installation. With the increase in the proportion of distributed PV and the growing emphasis on “safety” by more rooftop owners, enterprises in the microinverter sector have intensified their efforts in technological research and development, achieving fruitful results in launching more efficient and higher-power products and exploring emerging markets.

Recently, the media conducted research on the products and performance of major microinverter enterprises in the industry. TSOL-MP3000, a product from Suzhou TSUN, with an output power of 3000W, leads the industry in the field of single-phase microinverters, becoming the industry champion.

It shows that the maximum output power of TSOL-MP3000 reaches 3000W. With 6 independent MPPTs, it can connect to 6 PV modules, easily coping with complex installation environments with different orientations and partial shading, reducing the “bucket effect” and maximizing system power generation. Meanwhile, considering the increasing size of modules, power, voltage, and current, TSUN has also made corresponding designs in product development, with a single-channel MPPT DC input of 18.5A, seamlessly connecting to 182/210mm modules with a capacity of 600W+.

TSOL-MP3000 has IP67 protection, achieving a higher dustproof and waterproof level, and can be safely used in harsh outdoor environments, with a longer lifespan.

It is worth mentioning that since the direct current voltage of this product is lower than 60V, there is no risk of DC arc, making it safer for installation and maintenance. In addition, the product is equipped with a communication module to achieve component-level monitoring, and meet the requirements for rapid shutdown. It has broad application prospects in rooftop photovoltaic projects with higher safety requirements.

According to the International Energy Agency’s (IEA) annual market report on renewable energy in 2023, global renewable energy will experience rapid growth in the next five years, with wind and solar power generation accounting for 95% of the increase in renewable energy generation capacity. Undoubtedly, PV will bring many new changes to the global energy market, with huge growth potential. According to the report of the China Photovoltaic Industry Association, the global gigawatt-level photovoltaic market will reach 39 in 2024 and may reach 53 in 2025. Considering that distributed PV are gradually becoming an important growth point for the follow-up photovoltaic market, especially overseas markets, which makes the further expanding of the microinverter segment more promising.
