BACKGROUND
The completion of a pioneering 200MW solar plant in the challenging high-altitude terrain of Changdu City, Tibet Autonomous Region of China, marks a significant advancement in the field of solar energy. Situated at 4,400 meters above sea level, this husbandry-PV solar farm is poised to generate 340 million kilowatt hours annually, resulting in a reduction of approximately 280,800 tons of carbon emissions per year.
To ensure reliable and efficient power generation, the project relies exclusively on 2465mm*1134mm modules of JA Solar DeepBlue 4.0 Pro, designed to withstand extreme weather conditions and optimize system performance.
To commemorate this achievement, JA Solar and Tibet Development Investment Group will host the High-Altitude Clean Energy and Low-Carbon Development Forum on December 13, providing a platform for industry experts to discuss and promote the development of PV applications in high-altitude areas, contributing to the global transition to clean and low-carbon energy solutions.
