Risen Energy unveils 5.13% boost in power generation with HJT Hyper-ion modules

HJT module manufacturer Risen Energy has revealed a remarkable 5.13% increase in power generation per watt compared to PERC modules through a field test with China’s National Center of Supervision and Inspection on Solar Photovoltaic Products Quality (CPVT) in Hainan province.

Risen Energy has introduced a “dual-drive” strategy centered on reducing the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) and carbon emissions through its heterojunction (HJT) Hyper-ion modules.

These modules have consistently demonstrated a commitment to achieving lower carbon footprints and LCOEs while maximizing power generation—a crucial factor for meeting global market demands with top-notch products.

HJT technology, renowned for its high power generation capabilities, was put to the test against PERC and TOPCon modules across more than 20 countries and regions with diverse climatic conditions.

Utilizing PVsyst simulations, Risen Energy found that Hyper-ion modules consistently outperformed their counterparts, showcasing a substantial increase in power generation, particularly in high-temperature zones.

To corroborate these simulations with real-world data, Risen Energy collaborated with reputable organizations and clients to conduct empirical power generation tests in select global regions.

Figure 2 presents power generation data from the CPVT Hainan Test Facility, revealing a remarkable 5.13% increase in power generation per watt compared to PERC modules within just two months of grid connection.

This empirical result closely aligns with the earlier simulation findings, which indicated a 5.51% power increase in Hainan compared to PERC. The ongoing empirical tests, conducted in partnership with the National Center of Supervision and Inspection on Solar Photovoltaic Products Quality (CPVT), are a testament to Risen Energy’s dedication to validating the exceptional power generation performance of its HJT Hyper-ion products.

As the technical team continues to collect and analyze data from various field test sites, Risen Energy anticipates further substantiation of the high power generation capabilities of its HJT Hyper-ion modules. This empirical data, coupled with continuous updates, is poised to solidify these modules as the optimal choice and a reliable guarantee for discerning clients worldwide.
