Chinese new energy enterprise Haitai Solar yesterday released an announcement on capital increase to the construction of 2 GW of high efficiency solar module production.
The decision was made at the 13th meeting of the third board of directors held on December 23, deliberated and passed the Proposal on the Construction of 2 GW Photovoltaic Module Project by Increasing Capital to the Wholly-owned Subsidiary.
According to the company’s strategic development planning and the business development needs of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Haitai Solar will increase RMB 190 million to Tangshan Xingtai Photovoltaic Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd for the construction located at Caofeidian New Industrial Park, Tangshan City of Hebei Province.
The project will be started since 2023 for one year, with expected fixed assets of about RMB 200 million.
