Several hours after Silicon Industry of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association updated the latest silicon material prices yesterday, which has been rising for 15 consecutive weeks, Longi also refreshed its silicon wafer prices, with that of all formats increased by different ranges. Based on the quotation on March 25, the standard prices of 182mm, 166mm and 158.75mm silicon wafers increased by 2.39%, 3.06% and 3.18% respectively.
Furthermore, Longi cut down the mainstream thickness of p-type monocrystalline silicon from 165μm to 160μm, which may reduce the cost pressure caused by the rising price of polycrystalline silicon.
