Chinese solar module producer Yingli Solar recently has started the construction of its intelligent photovoltaic industrial park phase I project in Lixian County, Hebei Province, with phase II starting production in May this year. The company is about to create an annual fortune of RMB 10 billion after the operation, together with over 900 jobs provided.
The project, located in Lixian High-tech Development Zone, was invested with about RMB 1 billion yuan, covering an area of 200,000 square meters and a construction area of 40,000 square meters.
The phase I 1.3 GW solar module production line, with a total investment of RMB 150 million yuan, was completed within three months since its commencement in last October. The phase II 3.9 GW construction has been fully started and will begin production in May this year.
The project is set to become an intelligent manufacturing Lixian photovoltaic base; a laboratory R&D center based on the national standard innovation base; a production demonstration line of complete set of equipment for recovery and treatment of physical crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules; and a smart solution for the application of photovoltaic green power in the whole county, to contribute in energy conservation and emission reduction, and help the country to better achieve carbon emission peak and carbon neutrality with high-quality clean development.
