Mr. Sun noted that, TOPCon and HJT technologies are not contradictory. They have different advantages in the huge market. Although there is still room for HJT’s cost to be reduced, he believes in the bright prospects of the technology with its unique advantages.

Earlier this month, the company announced that its high efficiency HJT module has reached a conversion efficiency of 23.65%, with the highest power output of 721.016W, tested and accredited by TÜV SÜD. It broke the efficiency record of 23.08% set by the company in July, 2021.

As a leading player in HJT technology development, Risen Energy has refreshed its efficiency record for three times this year.

ITRPV’s report shows that, HJT cells have multiple advantages, including high efficiency and high bifaciality. It is expected to occupy over 50% of the solar cell market in five years, and lead the upgrade of the solar PV industry in the coming years.
