Akcome to set up HJT cell and module production JV in Zhoushan

On Monday, Akcome, a Chinese cell and module manufacturer, announced its plan to form a joint venture with China Resources Logistics and Zhoushan Marine Comprehensive Development and Investment Co., Ltd. with registered capital of 3 billion RMB. The joint venture agreement was signed on December 6th.


The joint venture is established to construct a heterojunction solar cell and module manufacturing plant in Zhoushan, a coastal city in China’s Zhejiang province.

The project is aimed at promoting solar industry development in Zhoushan while assisting the city in achieving its carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals.

The registered capital of the joint venture is expected to be RMB 3 billion. The phase I registered capital is proposed to be RMB 799 million. China Resources contributed 319 million yuan, accounting for 40% of the registered capital of phase I. Zhoushan Marine invested 319 million yuan, accounting for 40%, while Akcome invested 160 million yuan, accounting for 20%.
