China’s National Energy Administration released the national power industry statistics from January to September on October 21. By the end of September, China’s installed power generation capacity was 2.29 billion KW, a YOY increase of 9.4%. Among them, the installed capacity of wind power was about 300 million KW, a YOY increase of 32.8%, and 280 million KW for solar installation, a YOY increase of 24.6%.
From January to September, 25.56 GW of solar power generation was added nationwide, while the new data from January to August was 22.05 GW, that is, only 3.51 GW of solar power was added in September.
