Jinko gains new growth engine in cooperation with YF Capital

Jinko Solar has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with YF Capital, an investment management company, on renewable energy project development and investment, etc.

Based on sound cooperation foundations, the two sides wish to explore the possibility of establishing a joint venture that specializes in renewable energy project development. Expanding the investment in domestic and overseas renewables projects by setting up a carbon neutrality green fund is also on the agenda.

Jinko Solar boasts rich experience in distributed project development and a leading edge in technology and services. The company will make full use of these advantages when providing turnkey clean energy solutions during the cooperation.

YJ Capital was established by Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba, and Yu Feng, founder of a media company. Started in 2010, the company has built a business ecology system by investing in Internet, technology, health, entertainment, finance, and many other sectors.

The investment company has plans to provide carbon neutrality schemes to enterprises in its ecology, which could mean rich project resources for Jinko Solar. The cooperation could be a new growth engine for Jinko to expand its distributed solar deployments.

Jinko Solar has been committed to integrating global resources to help enterprises transition to low-carbon production modes. As of the end of June, 2021, the company owns 259 distributed plants with 820 MW connected to the grid, making it a leading player in solar PV project development and operation.
