In late June, Panasonic sent a letter to customers, saying that due to the fire in the factory of Renesas Electronics, a Japanese semiconductor giant, the procurement of semiconductor for some power regulators has been delayed, affecting the supply of some products. The production of these products will be suspended in July.

Panasonic said it would resume production in January 2022, with production expected to drop by 20-30%.
